Marshfield/Scituate Traffic Announcement

This is an important message from the Towns of Scituate and Marshfield.

 Due to the Bridge reconstruction project on Sea Street, the bridge will be closed starting on Thursday July 3rd, 2008 at 6PM.  The bridge will remain closed until Friday July 4th at 6AM.  No pedestrian traffic will be allowed on the Sea Street Bridge during that time period to ensure public safety.  

In addition, due to the anticipated heavy traffic volume, parking will be prohibited on the following streets in Marshfield on July 3rd and 4th.  Bayberry Road, Ridge Road, Ferry Street, Elm Street and Sea Street   On all public streets in Humarock, Parking is prohibited.   All residents are encouraged to be alert to these parking restrictions as they will be strictly enforced by towing.  These actions are necessary for the safety of the public.
